I believe it was Divine intervention that brought me to life
coaching. My journey into self-discovery began approximately 20 years
ago. Like many people, I was a lost 20 year old searching for
happiness. The only beliefs I really knew about life were from the
lessons I learned in childhood. It didn’t take long to discover I was
not well equipped for life.
The process of healing and becoming
aware of myself started with therapy and mountains of self-help
books. Also, at this time, I began an entry-level career in
business. After 10 years of hard work both in my career and on
myself, I felt more mature, and I was established as a manager in
business.
To the outside world, I was
successful. I was married and had a beautiful little boy. My career
path was on the rise, and I had achieved financial independence.
However, I was not happy. My marriage did not honor who I was, and
neither did my career in business.
Following a painful divorce, my life
direction began to change. I started to honor who I truly am. I went
back to school and earned my degree in Psychology. It was a
fascinating and fun experience. As a single parent, I began to
envision what I truly wanted from life for my son and for myself. The
most important thing to me was to do the things I loved and surround
myself with people who honored my authenticity.
Getting remarried to a wonderful man,
who shared my values, honored a big part of myself. However, I still
felt stuck in my business career; my heart just wasn’t in it.
Deciding to have another baby was my ticket to freedom (I just didn’t
know it). I arranged a part-time work-at-home option with my employer
so I could be close to my two boys.
After two years working from home, a
Divine Power stepped in. I was laid off from my work-at-home position
and offered a full-time position back in the office. I followed my
heart and my Creator’s plan for me. I declined the position and began
my search for the career that fits my true being. Once again, I was
hit over the head when someone very dear to me suggested I would make
a great life coach.
“Coaching?”, I said. “What is
that?” As I began to research the field, an overwhelming passion,
connection, and excitement took over me. There is absolutely no doubt
in my mind that coaching is where I am supposed to be.
Thus, the formation of “True to You” Life Coaching, LLC. It is
my hope and desire to help moms like myself be true to themselves.
Through this authentic connection, I believe mothers can achieve any
goal or dream they have. It is my goal to coach moms to live
the life they really want. Enjoy your journey!

warmest regards,
